What Should Be, Is Not

What I should actually be posting here is a recap from Hike #2 because yes, we did hike two weeks in a row.  And Hike #2 is worth talking about - but I don't have that typed up yet so you just have to wait.

What I did manage to do was start an unplanned album - I've decided to join in the 2011 ABC Album challenge over at A Cherry On Top.  And I've finished my cover page and caught up with letters A and B, which seems to have me right on track with everyone who started on time.  I found an 8x8 scrapbook kit made by American Traditional Designs that is the perfect color scheme and I hope to stay true to the alpha scheme using sheets of Making Memories big alphas and Carolee Creations tiny alphas, along with stickers including my latest find of Reminisce road sign stickers.  I love how this is turning out - I've decided to call the album Destinations and Detours A-B-C, there will be at least one city per state or country that I've visited through 2010. So far I've covered Georgia, Texas, Kansas and Massachusetts with A and B.  Take a look:

Our First Disney Cruise

Warning: It's a Rave. ;-) It would be much quicker to tell you what I didn't love about our first Disney Cruise - that would be nothing, lol. We sailed The Disney Wonder from Port Canaveral to Nassau, Bahamas, to Disney's Castaway Cay, Bahamas, then spent a day at sea before coming home (4 nights on board). It was awesome. I can't say enough about the excellent service, the delicious food, the fantastic shows (live shows and movie showings), the long list of activities on board and off, the beauty (and cleanliness) of the ship, and the wonderful crew and characters that surrounded us and made the trip extra-special. I recommend it to everyone. And if that's not enough, both my husband and my Dad recommend it too - they walked off the ship ready to reboard.

Mere words can not express the amazing adventure that was our trip, but perhaps scrapbook pages can. Here is the first page in our Disney Cruise album.
